Built like a tank ... and might just save your station
The build quality on these switches is excellent. I recommend the N-connector version for minimal insertion loss. They come with little rubber feet so they won't slide on the desk, or you can screw them to a back plate or board. Since they have a gas-discharge tube and a place to attach a ground wire, they do a decent job of protecting your station. Of course, you should have proper external grounding and lightning protection too, however you can't beat these for an affordable bit of protection, antenna selection, and peace of mind.
