Solid antenna
Good construction. Nice and solid. Built in duplexer with this model makes it easy to use with my FT-2DR.

Great little antenna
Just came back from my DX Vacation in Jamaica and had one of these along for the ride. Great little antenna I must say. Breaks down easy and fit's inside a 3 inch tube for travel. Easy to reassemble when you arrive at the operating site and always provides good swr providing you take care of it. If you knock it around the elements will come loose, but lock washers can overcome that issue if it's really an issue, for me it was not an issue. I made approx 30 satellite contacts with it on both linear and fm birds. It really peaked my interest in a whole new area of the hobby

good VSWR but poorly made
Antenna has under 1.5 VSWR on 2m but the elements are very poorly attached to the boom and end up constantly unscrewing and falling off. I retighten the elements every few minutes and loose valuable satellite pass time. Just seems like a poor design.
Admin Response - You may wish to add lockwashers to keep the elements tight, although these are easily lost. It depends how often you are assembling/disassembling.
