A great multiband dipole system

You do need the tripod I have been using this for POTA and operate it on 40m and 20m at the same time. The lower wire is very strong and can act as a guy line but you need to have grip bags or at least 3 paracord guys to make sure it doesnt topple over and bend the whips. The 40m wire is deployed as an inverted Vee and offers omnidirectional radiation. No problem with Papa Alpha or Mike November. I did roll back the wire a bit to get the SWR lowest at 7150 but out of the box it was OK. The upper bands use the whips and I usually start at 20m and then go to 17 then 10 Just pull the whips out to the marker and your done Now go back to the picnic table and you can operate VFO 1 on 40m and VFO 2 on 20m and go spot and hunt and give the chasers new parks. The tripod is very solid and betters my lighting ones that arent as good quality. Having everything into a zip case makes it easy to transport and lose anything. I added a Jpole in the bag for when I want to also deploy for the simplex operations After 7 deployments and hundreds of contacts with no issues John VE3IPS QRZ Parks?
